Durga Puja
The cold breeze of autumn blows,
The throbbing of my heart begin to slow!
Goddess Durga arrives from Kailash,
Creating our festive mood!
The great redish fire warms our wood!
People sing songs, people are happy!
Everybody laughs including baby wearing nappy!
Fragrance of insane sticks,
Makes me little freak.
The glowing of oil lamps,
Lightens my dark future.
To enjoy the festival, I ordered new furniture.
Thematic pandals, fragrance of Sandals,
Gives me pleasure!
It's my leisure!
Puja vacation begins, pupils are free!
Beautiful autumns has leaves shed from a tree.
The golden yellow sun, the pinkish brown sky!
In such a dusk my pleasure is a spicy fish fry.
Conchs begin to tune, priests chant spell.
My prayer to God is ,“ All should be well”.
But the happiness doesn't last long,
I gained a sorrow feeling strong!
Durga ran to her in-laws house,
Leaving us go be with her spouse.
